AUDREY ELAINE ANDERSON

Mrs. Anderson, a graduate of the University of the West Indies was a career Central Banker for over 40 years, and had several ‘firsts’ in her career  among which was the distinction of being the first female to have been appointed Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Jamaica and subsequently Senior Deputy Governor (appointed in April 2005).   She occupied the statutory position of Deputy Supervisor of Banks and Financial Institutions, and in her capacity as Senior Deputy Governor was also Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank.

CAROLE REID

Carole Reid joined the XLCR Family in 1960 in 6th Form. Her friends in the back bench in Form 6A were Deighton Cockburn, Neville Duncan, and Michael Canton. Her friends included Claudette Morrison now Smith and of course the esteemed Prof. The Hon. Errol Morrison was at this illustrious place of learning at this time along with our international treasure Sir Willard White. This was the time of the “greats” to name a few.
