Phase II : Summer 2010 Multimedia Mentoring Workshop for "at risk" students

The Mentorship programme was successfully delivered and culminated in a Summer Multimedia Production Workshop with students using the e-Learning lab to create their own Multimedia productions.

The workshop was sponsored by the team of past students and other associates from VILCOMM Multimedia Ltd. Volunteer tutors were Linden Holness, Jelanie Thompson and Vilma Gregory.

Student activities included the following:

1. Creation of digital stories of their lives in 10 and 20 years
2. Recording and integration of their voices, music and sound effects
3. Capturing and integrating images
4. Capturing and integrating video clips
5. Animating their media assets
6. Compiling their digital stories and publishing to CD/DVD-ROMs

The Principal was given a copy of all the fascinating projects done by these students.
