Victory for Excelsior at Penn Relays -First in Decades

 Team and coaches with shield and medals

After a Saturday morning which started out with temperatures just above freezing the weather at The University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field improved by early afternoon to see temperatures of around 16C (60F), with the sun shining gloriously.

XLCR Top Ten Rush - Day 2 Champs 2015

The Excelsior Lady Eagles got off to a good start to their Championship goal of a top ten position when the Shanice Love and Nayoka Clunis placed 2nd and 6th respectively in the Girls Class1 Discus Throw Final earlier today, giving XLCR 10 points. After 3 finals the Lady Eagles were in 3rd place in the points standing.

Muriel “Peanie” McLeod

The Excelsior Class of 1980 has ensured that the name of revered food vendor Muriel “Peanie” McLeod name will continue to echo around the campus for sometime yet after it established the Muriel McLeod Scholarship to honor the recently retired staple of the Excelsior family.
