Phase II : Summer 2010 Multimedia Mentoring Workshop for "at risk" students

The Mentorship programme was successfully delivered and culminated in a Summer Multimedia Production Workshop with students using the e-Learning lab to create their own Multimedia productions.

The workshop was sponsored by the team of past students and other associates from VILCOMM Multimedia Ltd. Volunteer tutors were Linden Holness, Jelanie Thompson and Vilma Gregory.

XLCR 2010 Mentorship Programme

This is a follow-up activity to earlier mentorship efforts made by other past students.

1. What does the XLCR Student Mentorship Programme aim to achieve?

· Increased teacher and school support

· Improved student attitudes, values and self-esteem

· Improved student performance, retention on a per form/subject/individual basis

· Increased alumni participation in the school’s welfare
